Subsequently, some fraying: With cast away, the dialogue does not flow with something like the ease of logic or even tone. Danish director Lone Scherfig demonstrated its ability to instill a Talky script with lots of mood without words of an education. But one day, the words - is never convincing - many of them come directly from the book. The choices that Emma Dexter and make the page feel inevitable, even when the reader knows they are bad choices. Their choices on the screen seems arbitrary - which is worse than wrong or without head, all day.
Hathaway, meanwhile, looks like she could just chomp down on Dex Sturgess and devour it like a bar of Dove with a smile lipstick. And as a result, not surprisingly, Sturgess does not look too happy - even more unfortunate that Dex is worth, as it fits in the interim alcohol and work shallow as the host of a show shit-lite TV VH1. (Patricia Clarkson adds its own bit of Yankee-made UK is terribly glamorous as Dexter's mother, doting upper class.)
